Andrew Pattern started his career at a major Ford Dealership in 1988, Dees, located in Croydon. His training was completed at Croydon College between 1988 and 1991 where he accomplished outstanding results in both levels of City and Guilds and Btec national diplomas.

On completion of this training Andrew was promoted into a Technician role where he afforded many new techniques awarding him a position of Senior Technician (Master Technician). His new role endured much training and with the added influence of Fords racing pedigree this promoted much more extension in the study of Rally Corse cars during this period.
In 1993 and further to Andrew’s inspired technical abilities he was heavily persuaded to ‘jump ship’ and enjoy a greater remuneration at the local Fiat/Alfa Romeo/ Lancia Dealership namely Thames Service Station. He joined there influenced by his former Ford college and current business partner Jamie Pitt, producing excellent service and promoting a ‘fix it first‘ approach to problem vehicles.

Andrews’s passion for German cars has always been distinct having owned numerous BMW models from such an early age so this change in product would be an attractive progression and a tribute to his CV.
Andrews flavour for this industry was quickly progressed as he moved to some 3 other BMW, Fiat/Alfa Romeo, Mercedes Benz dealerships gaining infinite rewards and promotions. Finally Andrew gained Master technician recognitions in Ford, BMW and Fiat/Alfa Romeo vehicles a vast achievement at such an early age. In 2007 Andrew settled in a demanding but comfortable position where he would gather his business training/knowledge as Workshop Manager, over looking the day to day running of a 10 bay workshop with some 15 staff reporting to him. It is this position that granted Andrew an acknowledged role within the dealership and contributed heavily to their every success that they are today.
Andrew since joined the Church Motor Company owners team in 2007 bringing a wealth of German car knowledge and customers to the business, fundamentally establishing us as one of the most upto date German car specialists within our areas. In the last 2 years Andrew has been showing off his skills in restoration bringing back to life a Fiat 124 Syder, bought from a customer who had quite a romantic and yet sad story. This has since been a ground up nut and bolt resto that has already had commendations from the likes of Autoitalia car magazine, Classic and sports car magazine to name a few.
